— About merdiz

A quiet library, built by people who care about getting it right.

We’re a small, cross-disciplinary team turning clinical research into practical guides. Everything we publish is honest, cited, and rooted in real patient experience.
— Our story

The internet is loud. Good health information is quiet.

merdiz began after our founder spent three months looking for straightforward guidance on managing a parent’s chronic condition — and found either terrifying forums or paywalled academic papers. Nothing in between. Nothing you could actually hand to a family member and say: read this, and you’ll understand.
So we set out to build that missing middle layer. A calm, well-lit shelf of PDFs on every corner of health — written by clinicians, edited by writers, designed for people, not databases.
Today, our library spans nutrition, mental health, chronic disease, maternal & child health, public health, disease prevention, and more. We’re small on purpose. Every guide gets our full attention.
— Our mission

To make trustworthy health information feel as calm and close-at-hand as a book on your shelf.

— What makes us different

Not another content mill. A publishing house for health.

Four commitments we hold to on every single guide we ship.
/ 01

Clinician-reviewed

Every guide is reviewed by at least one licensed clinician or public health specialist in that field before it ships.
/ 02

Fully cited

We show our work. Every claim is linked to a source; every source is dated and reassessed each quarter.
/ 03

Designed to be used

Not a wall of text. Guides include worksheets, checklists, and next-step summaries so knowledge turns into action.
/ 04

Reader-answered

We reply to every reader email personally within two business days. No bots, no ticket queue.
